Mortal Kombat XL, which consists of the base game and both DLC Kombat Packs, will sell for $60 on Xbox One and PS4 when it launches on March 1. (It's not coming to PC for reasons that have yet to be explained.) Kombat Pack 2, meanwhile, will sell for $20 on its own, $10 less than the first pack.
As laid out in the chart below from WB, XL is meant to serve as the option for those who don't own the game and want to get their hands on everything. For those with the game but none of the DLC, the XL Pack will be available for $25; it consists of both Kombat Packs.
Kombat Pack 2 consists of four new characters (Alien's Xenomorph, Leatherface, Triborg, and Bo' Rai Cho), as well as Goro (previously available as a preorder bonus) and a number of character skins.
The first Kombat Pack is available for the PC version of Mortal Kombat X, but apparently isn't getting any of the new content represented in Kombat Pack 2/Mortal Kombat XL.
New content aside, developer NetherRealm recently announced plans to launch a beta test for a new and improved online multiplayer experience.
