Adam Morrison was well-known for three things last year: being the best college basketball player in the country, crying on national television after his Gonzaga squad lost a heartbreaker, and his moustache. This year, he'll be known as one of the top NBA rookies, as a member of the Charlotte Bobcats, and the spokesperson for NCAA March Madness 07.

Electronic Arts today announced Morrison's mug, mustache and all, will be featured on the cover of the company's upcoming college basketball game, which was also officially announced today. NCAA March Madness 07 will be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 on January 16, 2007.

For those next-gen gamers who can't wait until the new year, EA will be releasing a demo of the game on November 14 over Xbox Live Marketplace featuring the number-one-ranked Florida Gators and the number-two Kansas Jayhawks.

Morrison, who also promotes NBA Live 07, led Division I scorers last year with 28.1 points per game and barely beat best friend and Halo 2 partner J.J. Redick for the scoring title. The two basketball buds will once again be in competition, as Redick earned honors to be the cover athlete for 2K Sports' College Hoops 2K7.
