It now looks more likely that 2K Games is in fact working on a BioShock Collection. The Brazil Advisory Rating Board has published a listing for "BioShock: The Collection," which follows the initial reveal of the unannounced game from a South African retailer in September 2015.

Whereas the South African retailer, Raru, indicated the BioShock Collection would be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 only, Brazil's rating covers those consoles, as well as PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 (via MCV).

No further details about what would be included in the BioShock Collection were divulged. A seemingly likely, but not confirmed, scenario would be that the bundle features BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite.

A BioShock Collection has not been announced. GameSpot has contacted 2K Games in an attempt to get more details. We will update this post with anything we hear back.

In February 2014, BioShock series creator Irrational Games effectively closed down. Development on the series is now in the hands of 2K Marin. No new games in the series have been announced, but parent publisher Take-Two maintains that the franchise has not yet reached its creative or commercial peak.

The most recent entry in the BioShock series, 2013's BioShock Infinite, has shipped over 6 million copies to date.
