Mobile Driver 3 signed for UK

Unique Games announces a mobile content deal with Sorrent to publish titles--including the mobile version of Driver 3--in the UK.

Unique Games today announced that is has secured a long-term mobile content deal with Sorrent, one of North America's largest mobile games publishers and developers. The agreement includes the UK mobile phone rights to Driver 3, as well as a number of other titles from Sorrent's portfolio, which includes games from Atari and Fox Sports.

"Sorrent's world-class team of game designers, software engineers, and producers has a long and successful track record of creating innovative and market-leading titles," said Mark Watts, technical director at Unique Games. "We are thrilled to be involved in this exciting period for mobile gaming and look forward to working with Sorrent on a range of top titles."

"Unique Games has ambitious plans for the future, and its drive to bring mobile games in to consumers' hands is a remarkably ambitious one," added Ray Schaaf, president of publishing at Sorrent. "We have been impressed with its focus and creative thinking."

Details of additional titles included in today's agreement are expected to be released over the next few days.
