"The whole city will be explorable."

Just how big is the map in DICE's upcoming free-running sequel, Mirror's Edge Catalyst? Pretty big, apparently. The developer has released an interactive 3D map that shows off the game's Anchor District.--and this is just one of the explorable spaces in the game.

"The whole city will be explorable," DICE said on Twitter. Today we've only shown you the Anchor district, but more will follow." A follow-up tweet mentioned about the entire map, "It's huge. And we'll show you more in the coming weeks. Excited?"

GameSpot recently played Catalyst and our hands-on impressions can be found here. The game was originally expected to launch on May 24, but after a delay, it's now due out on June 7 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

One reason for the delay was to give DICE extra time to address the feedback it received from Catalyst's closed beta. "We're confident that these extra two weeks will make sure the game is as amazing as possible for you the players," the developer said when announcing the postponement.
