Mirror of Fate HD free if you preorder Lords of Shadow 2 on PSN
Konami giving away copies of $15 game if you preorder upcoming action game through PlayStation Network.
Anyone who preorders a copy of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 through the PlayStation Network will receive a copy of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD for free, Konami announced today. The game normally sells for $15 and the promotion is good today through the Lords of Shadow 2 launch on February 25.
Lords of Shadow 2 is coming to Xbox 360 and PC as well, but publisher Konami did not announce a similar promotion for those platforms.
Mirror of Fate originally launched exclusively for the 3DS in March 2013, while the updated HD version came to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in October of that year. The game introduces Trevor and Simon Belmont and mixes platforming and action gameplay.
Meanwhile, Lords of Shadow 2 launches at the end of the month and is the conclusion to the series. In the game, players control Gabriel Belmont in modern and medieval settings.
If the Lords of Shadow series continues, don't expect developer Mercury Steam to work on future installments. The Spanish developer is currently working on a new game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (but not Wii U) that is described as "completely different."
