Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson will appear on The Late Late Show this Thursday, November 7, CBS has announced (via Kotaku).

The Late Late Show, hosted by comedian Craig Ferguson, airs on CBS starting at 12:35 a.m. Persson will be joined by actress Kat Dennings (Two Broke Girls, Thor) on the program.

It was not announced why Persson is appearing on The Late Late Show, though he may be appearing to promote a new book about his life.

Minecraft: The Unlikely Tale of Markus "Notch" Persson and the Game that Changed Everything will be released tomorrow, November 5. The book was written by freelance journalists Linus Larsson and Daniel Goldberg and promises a look inside Persson's life.

During MineCon 2013 this weekend in Orlando, Twitch and Mojang announced a partnership that will bring streaming to Minecraft later this year.
