Meet Sonic creator Yuji Naka

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the release of Sonic the Hedgehog and the upcoming release of Sonic Adventure 2 for the Sega Dreamcast, Sonic creator Yuji Naka will make an appearance at the San Jose Software Etc. on Saturday, June 30. Naka will be signing autographs, meeting patrons, and helping promote Sonic Adventure 2. There will be a special appearance by Sonic, a birthday cake in his honor, and special Sonic giveaways. Additionally, with the purchase of Sonic Adventure 2 at the event or at select retailers, consumers will receive a limited-edition gold-colored Sonic 10th Anniversary coin, a music compilation CD, and a History of Sonic booklet.

Interested parties must be at the Software Etc. store at 3600-A Stevens Creek Blvd. in San Jose, Calif., between the hours of 11am and 1pm PT. Sonic Adventure 2 is currently available at retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $39.95.
