Marvel's Black Panther Additional Cast Confirmed, Logo Revealed

The wait until 2018 is a long one.

More of the cast of upcoming Marvel film Black Panther has been revealed. Director Ryan Coogler introduced the cast during a presentation in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con.

It was already known that actor Chadwick Boseman will portray the protagonist, Black Panther. He will be joined by Academy Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Michael B. Jordan (not the basketball player) as Erik Killmonger, and Danai Gurira as Okoye. This will be the fourth time Michael B. Jordan would have worked with director Ryan Coogler. The two teamed up for 2015’s Creed, which Jordan starred in.

The presentation also revealed a slick new logo for the upcoming movie.

The character Black Panther made his debut in the Marvel cinematic universe in Captain America: Civil War. Boseman’s performance was described as “remarkable” by the film’s directors.
