Marvelous shows off Valhalla Knights

New trailer features gameplay and combat footage from upcoming Japanese PSP role-playing game.

Marvelous Interactive has posted a new trailer for its upcoming PlayStation Portable role-playing game, Valhalla Knights, on its Web site. The game follows a young adventurer on a quest to recover his lost memory. During battles, the player directly controls one character at a time in a six-character party, with the remaining five controlled by artificial intelligence and player commands. The minute-and-a-half-long trailer (click the green box in the bottom right of the page) gives a rough overview of the story and shows some in-game scenes. Valhalla Knights is set for release in Japan August 10 and will retail for 4,800 yen (about US $42).
