Listen to the New Ghostbusters Theme Song by Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott (Warning: It's Bad)

The Ghostbusters theme song is every bit as iconic as the much-loved 1984 movie, and with the reboot released next month, a new version of the theme has arrived. It's performed by Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott, and is a modern spin on Ray Parker Jr's classic original. We couldn't make it all the way through, you can listen to it for yourself below:

Ghostbusters is directed by Bridesmaid's Paul Feig, and stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. Several actors from the original movie will also feature in cameos, including Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver.

Earlier this week it was reported that the new Ghostbuster animated series would be titled Ghostbusters: Ecto Force. The show is to be set in the year 2050, and is expected to premiere in early 2018.

Ghostbusters is released on July 17, 2016.
