Gamers in Singapore wishing for a gaming event like the Penny Arcade Expo can settle for an upcoming event at the end of May. Sphere Exhibits will be holding a gaming fair called Licence2Play in Singapore. This event aims to not only have game competitions and local games up for play testing, but it also helps promote cyber wellness. The details are as follows:

Date: May 28 to 29
Time: 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
Venue: Suntec Convention Hall 401, Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore

Activities at the event include the New Paper Cyber Challenge game tournament, the Digital Life Android Awards, and the Licence2Play Cyber Wellness Campaign. The game tournament will feature Gran Turismo 5, Cabal Online, and Sudden Attack, with cash prizes up to S$4,000 as first place prizes. The DL Android Awards is a competition for developers to create the best Android application. The Cyber Wellness Campaign is an initiative to promote a healthy gaming lifestyle, with posters being on display throughout the gaming event and a lucky draw that involves a quiz about cyber wellness.
