Level 5 bringing SUDA51's Liberation Maiden to Europe

Professor Layton developer releasing Japanese games Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud on the 3DS eShop in Europe.

by

Professor Layton developer Level 5 is bringing three of its previous Japan-only 3DS releases to Europe. Up first is Liberation Maiden, a 3D sci-fi shooter created by SUDA51 that puts players in command of a humanoid robot called Kamui. It's available to download immediately from the Nintendo 3DS eShop for £7.19.

SUDA51's special brand of gaming madness is coming to the 3DS.

Following shortly after in November is Aero Porter, a puzzle game created by Seaman creator Yoot Saito. The game sees players sorting colour-coded luggage onto conveyor belts while attempting to avoid mishaps and delays. Players are also able to design their own planes and share them with others.

Finally, tabletop-style RPG Crimson Shroud is hitting the 3DS eShop in December. Designed by Yasumi Matsuno--whose previous works include Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story, and Tactics Ogre--Crimson Shroud is set 1000 years in the past and tells the story of how magic becomes commonplace in the world.

The games were originally released as part of the GUILD01 in Japan, a multi-game pack featuring works by some of the industry’s most respected game creators. For more info head over to the official site, and check out the trailer below.

I guess it's no surprise that anime and manga 'feature' so many female characters given that nearly all of them are degrading to females to a greater or an even-greater degree in terms of their content...

Bring them to North America before I fly my working cardboard airplane over to the localization team, tie them down, and force them to watch reruns of The Golden Girls until they cave and release these games.

Can they bring this to anywhere else?  I know it's expensive but a lot of players aren't picky.  I own Xbox 360 but I too like to play Sony's games.

I don't know what Crimson Shroud is, but coming from the creator of Final Fantasy Tactics, it can't be bad.

@UnwantedSpam Oh quit yer whining. We just got Sakura Samurai (as Hana Samurai for some reason) over here in Europe. It's one of the greatest 3DS exclusive downloads and we had to wait AGES. Why we're on the subject - why can't we all get the same? It's already in english so whats the deal? Did you get Megaman on your Virtual Console over there?

@trivolution they buit it from the ground up for the 3DS to make it work with any other system would require alot of money not to mention what would you do with the bottom touch screen there just wouldnt be any way to port this to another system without having to rework and possibly just remake the game its just not practical

@Gurzociurlo They already announced a while ago that Ni No Kuni is coming Jan 2013.

@SolidTy Yep, it was an awesome game, but I guess it didn't sell enough to warrant a sequel...

Hell, I'd even pay for an XBLA game based on just the Insectron 'Tournament!

@badboy Not for the DS. It was originally announced as a DS game, but it was never localized, then it came out on the PS3, and the whole world is getting it. Just like Tales of Graces.

@Gurzociurlo They said they won't localize the DS version because of the difficulty translating the bundled Magic Master book, and the difficulty of selling such a bundle outside of Japan. Also the PS3 version was actually being developed at the same time while they were doing the DS version. I saw the PS3 trailer on YouTube months before the DS version was released in Japan. Some people think the PS3 version is a remake, but it isn't.
