Here's another way to see what the guy in the Japanese Resident Evil 2 commercial - banned in the US - looks like and how good his acting is.
Brad Renfro. It's a name that would ring the bell of only the most fanatic followers of Resident Evil 2 lore. He played the role of Leon Kennedy in the Romero-directed Resident Evil 2 commercial in Japan. Due to contractual complications, it was never aired here, and Renfro's agent even went as far as to prevent stills from the commercial from running in any US publications.
The mystery of this actor is now lifted with the release of the feature film Apt Pupil. So see what you missed in the commercial at your local cinema. This thriller is the second effort from the director of The Usual Suspects (with Kevin Spacey and Gabriel Byrne).
