League of Legends Was the Most-Watched Game on Twitch in May

Riot's free-to-play MOBA leads the way, followed by Dota 2, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.

Streaming video platform Twitch this week announced the twenty most-watched games on the service for May 2014, with League of Legends leading the way. Rounding out the top five were Dota 2, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.

Below is a list of the twenty most-watched games, broken down not by unique viewers, but rather by the overall number of minutes watched per game. According to Twitch, "This allows us to give you a more accurate view of the Twitch community, as it helps negate the influence of front page and other promotions."
