Knights of Honor gallops into retail

Paradox Interactive today announced that Knights of Honor has shipped to retailers in North America and is now available for the PC. Previously, the game was delayed in March "to ensure the game will be more widely available in all parts of North America." Black Sea Studios, out of Bulgaria, makes its debut as a developer with the game.

The real-time strategy empire-conquering simulation is set during three periods of the Middle Ages with historically correct kingdoms and factions. Knights of Honor lets gamers play as a noble king without all the chafing platemail. As supreme overlord, all facets of the kingdom will be in players' control, including diplomatic relations, resource gathering, trade policy, and militaristic movements.

Players will have several types of knights to control, each with individual abilities and upgrades. More than 50 unique units round out the army, and 60 different edifices can be built to maintain and defend realms.
