Knight Rider coming to the US

Tri Synergy announces that it will bring the PC version of this '80s-TV-show-inspired driving game to North America.

Tri Synergy has today announced that it will publish the PC version of Knight Rider--which has been available in Europe since November--in North America later this year. The game was developed by Netherlands-based Davilex and was originally scheduled for release on all current console platforms as well as the PC but has, to date, only been released for the PS2.

In Knight Rider, players get to sit behind the steering wheel of the Knight Industries Two Thousand, better known as KITT. The sentient black Trans-Am, best known for sporting flashing red lights on its hood, boasted a seemingly unlimited number of gadgets and optional extras in the TV show, including a turbo boost, a ski mode, and micro jammers--all of which will be available in the game.

The PC version of Knight Rider is scheduled for release in North America before the end of March this year, but there's no news yet as to whether or not the PS2 version of the game will be released outside Europe. For more information on Knight Rider, check out our PS2 version of the game.
