Midway Games has today announced the North American release of Justice League: Chronicles for the Game Boy Advance. Based on the DC Comics-inspired Cartoon Network series, the action game sees players assuming the roles of a number of heroes charged with saving the world from a group of supervillains.

"Justice League: Chronicles delivers a favorite animated series to Game Boy Advance owners, giving them an interactive and episodic adventure," said Mark Beaumont, senior vice president of entertainment at Midway.

Playable superheroes in Justice League: Chronicles include Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter. The game features 12 increasingly difficult levels in total and will require players to employ stealth and strategy as well as their superpowers.
