Jedi Outcast goes gold
LucasArts reveals that Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast for the Xbox and GameCube will ship in the middle of November.
On the official Web site for Jedi Knight II, LucasArts has announced that the Xbox and GameCube versions of the game have been approved for manufacturing. Both games are scheduled to ship on November 18. The GameCube and Xbox games are direct conversions of the PC game that was released early this year to critical acclaim and has had a successful run on the PC sales charts.
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast puts players in the role of Kyle Katarn, a former mercenary turned Jedi. The game is played from both a first- and third-person perspective, depending on whether the player is fighting with ranged weapons or the Jedi's trademark lightsaber.
