Game publishers Atari and Jamdat have extended their licensing agreement until 2008, according to a statement released today. Under the terms of the extension, Jamdat will keep publishing mobile-phone versions of Atari games under the Hasbro brand, such as Scrabble, Yahtzee, and Boggle, and launch a new title, Scrabble Blast. The two developers first forged their licensing deal in mid 2004. "With this extension, Jamdat will continue to publish wireless versions of Atari games that have been popular with consumers," said Mitch Lasky, CEO of Jamdat Mobile.
