Interplay Names New CFO

Interplay's Board of Directors has named Manny Marrero the company's new chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

Marrero's has held the titles of CFO and Senior VP for such companies as Precision Metals and Autologic Information International since 1993.

"We are very excited to have Manny join the Interplay team. He brings us a great deal of expertise and experience in finance and operations", says Brian Fargo, Interplay's CEO. "These are crucial to our efforts to return Interplay to profitability, which include taking steps to improve our financial and operational systems along with keeping our focus on delivering products that achieve strong retail sell-through."

Interplay's previous CFO, Jim Wilson, will continue on as Interplay's VP of finance.
