Infogrames to release Ultimate Battle 22 in North America

A PlayStation Dragon Ball Z game from 1995 is coming to the US this month.

Infogrames has officially announced that Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 for the PlayStation will be available in North America on March 25 and will retail for $19.95. Ultimate Battle 22 was originally developed in 1995 by Bandai and has since become a popular import among Dragon Ball Z fans. The game features 22 characters who have up to nine unique moves each. In addition, characters can be upgraded by gaining experience in various fights. Ultimate Battle 22 takes place during the Frieza, Android, and Buu sagas.

"Ultimate Battle 22 is the perfect entry point for fans wanting to immerse themselves in the fighting action of the Dragon Ball Z universe," said Paul Rinde, senior vice president of Infogrames' Minneapolis studio. "Already a hit around the world, Ultimate Battle 22 will become a classic DBZ game for serious American fans of the show as well."
