I-Magic Completes Sale of CD-ROM Division

Interactive Magic announced Thursday that it has completed the sale of its CD-ROM division to Ubi Soft Entertainment and will now fully concentrate on its online ventures.

Progress continues on its games, though some questions abound regarding Red Fury; a number of the game's team members reportedly left to join Red Storm Entertainment. The company is also looking for a publisher for Red Fury (since it was not involved in the sale to Ubi Soft) and is still very interested in hosting the online portion of the game.

GameSpot News has also learned that longtime I-Magic marketing/public relations manager Lynne Beaman has resigned from the company and as of July 22 will be a program manager for public relations at IBM.
