Hoping For Dragon Force

Last year, Working Designs brought one of the best Saturn strategy RPGs to the US - Dragon Force. The game was one of Working Designs' best sellers and one of the best Saturn games released in the US during the system's two and a half year life. Now, Sega Enterprises is showing the first glimpse of its sequel, called (of course) Dragon Force 2.

If you're a fan of the game, just looking at these screens will make you want to tell Sega of America that the game must be released in the US. But the Saturn market is quickly tightening, and with Working Designs no longer taking on new Saturn projects, the game is up to SoA to do. The only problem is that SoA looks to be slowing its Saturn efforts, hopefully to gear up in 1998 for the release of its next system.

From the looks of it, DF2 will be bigger and better than the original. We can only hope that the game makes it to the US in English. The game will be on Japanese shelves in March.
