Guardians of the Galaxy 2's First Poster Shows Off the Main Cast and Tagline

Marvel Studios has released the first poster for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The poster shows off stars Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Michael Rooker (Yondu) in their roles, while Groot and Rocket can also be seen.

The poster contains a tagline at the bottom that says "Obviously."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, which is directed by James Gunn,also stars Glenn Close and Kurt Russell. It hits theaters on May 5, 2017. The first movie, which came out in 2014 and was also directed by Gunn, made more than $770 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

The original ended with Groot being reborn as a baby "tree." Vin Diesel, who voiced Groot, will return to voice the character again. "Vin is an actor and capable of doing many voices," Gunn previously explained. "His Carol Channing is famous in Hollywood."

In other news about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Diesel recently confirmed that members of the Guardians will show up in 2018's Avengers: Infinity War, though it's not clear which ones.
