To celebrate the anniversary, the folks behind GTA Series Videos have put together a new movie using Grand Theft Auto V's Rockstar Editor on PC.

They use a John Marston character mod, and even some of the original Red Dead Redemption music from Woody Jackson.

Watch as John Marston fights, shoots, and rides his way through the world of GTA V. There's a nice ending, too, so be sure to stick around until the end.

A Red Dead Redemption sequel has not been announced. However, Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two Interactive has stressed that the series is "permanent," suggesting a return to the franchise is not a matter of it, but when.

2010's Red Dead Redemption has sold more than 13 million copies. Its developer, Rockstar San Diego, meanwhile, currently has more than 35 open positions posted on its careers website, suggesting the studio is staffing up for a major project.
