GOG.com will be releasing an update for its DRM-free online gaming platform, GOG Galaxy. Titled update 1.1, the patch will bring with it a rollback feature that will allow users to restore games to prior states. This is useful for maintaining compatibility with certain mods or saves. The patch will also make updates to the GOG Galaxy's friends system, pause and resume feature for downloads, introduce more pre-installation options, improve the user interface, and boost performance for the client.

The GOG Galaxy Update is currently available to users who are enrolled to receive preview updates, but will be rolling out to all users "very soon." Those who wish to opt in to the update early can do so by selecting the "Receive preview updates" option in the settings screen.

GOG Galaxy first hit open beta in May this year. The service replicates some features offered by Valve's Steam but is completely free of DRM, giving users the option to play all of their games offline without any online activation required.
