God of War is getting a New Game Plus mode, Sony confirmed during E3 2018. PlayStation boss Shawn Layden announced the mode during the weird intermission of Sony's briefing.

He didn't have anything more to say about what the New Game Plus mode will entail, but Layden confirmed that more news is coming soon. Based on the name, it'll involve some way to replay the game while retaining elements of the progress you made during your original playthrough. Whenever more is shared, we'll report back, but based on Layden's comments, its release is not imminent. As such, it might be some time before we learn anything else.
