Geometry Wars goes mobile

Geometry Wars have been raging on the Xbox 360's Live Arcade for almost a year now, but it looks like another front is about to open up in the never-ending struggle between various colored shapes. Sony BMG Music Entertainment has announced that it will be releasing a cell-phone version of the game, called Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved Mobile, sometime this fall. Developed with the help of Hardcore3D Wireless and Bizarre Creations, Retro Evolved Mobile will include all the enemies of the original game and configurable controls. A Sony representative told GameSpot the list of compatible handsets and carriers had not yet been finalized.
