Splatoon is $50 at Best Buy for today only; Gamers Club Unlocked members can get it for $40. Splatoon is also $55 at Amazon, but if you're an Amazon Prime member, you can get it for $50--just add it to your cart to see the discounted price.

The Humble Store has kicked off a big end-of-summer sale on PC games, and it's giving away Stealth Inc. 2 for free.

Samsung's Gear VR headset, regularly $200, can be had for $100 right now from the Samsung online store. You simply need to log into (or create) a Samsung account and enter the promo code VRDPUS (via Slickdeals) during checkout. This is the Innovator Edition, of which there are two versions: one for the S6 and one for the Note 4.

Preordering a Steam Machine, Steam Controller, or Steam Link right now will get you free copies of Rocket League and Portal 2.

The newly released Madden NFL 16 can be had for $50 on eBay (PS4/Xbox One) and Amazon if you're a Prime member (PS4 /Xbox One). On Amazon, you'll need to add the game to your cart in order to see the discount; just make sure the seller is Amazon and not a third-party.

Walmart has a new PS4 bundle where you can get three months of PlayStation Plus and two free select games for $399. The system itself comes with your choice of either Batman: Arkham Knight or The Last of Us Remastered, and you then have two different pools of games to choose from for the two free games. This bundle has changed since it first launched: The first set of games now consists of Madden NFL 16 and its Deluxe Edition (which will bump the bundle up by $10). The second includes Destiny, Alien Isolation, Watch Dogs, Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, Sniper Elite III, Assassin's Creed Unity, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Evolve, The Lego Movie Videogame, and Lego Marvel Superheroes.

Walmart is selling two Xbox One bundles with a free second controller and game for $349-399, including the new Madden 16 and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundles. You can choose from a free copy of Destiny, Evolve, Minecraft, Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition, or Sniper Elite III, or you can pay a bit more to replace it with Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition ($15), Need for Speed: Rivals - Complete Edition ($15), Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare ($15), Mortal Kombat X ($25), Battlefield Hardline ($25), or Batman: Arkham Knight ($25).

PlayStation 4

GameStop is selling a PS4 Last of Us Remastered bundle with a copy of Madden NFL 16 (and a digital strategy guide) for $400. If you want the Deluxe Edition of Madden, you can get the same bundle, but with that version of the game, for $410.

Target Cartwheel currently has a 15 percent off PS4 offer. This includes all PS4 bundles, letting you get a system for $340 before tax. Cartwheel only works in Target stores.

PSN has a new Retro Sale going on, though the selection of games isn't necessarily limited to retro or even retro-inspired games, as the name suggests.

Buy a PS4 at Best Buy and you can save $5 on a 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription.

The Madden 16 Xbox One bundle is also available on eBay with a free Covert Forces controller for $400.

Buy an Xbox One at Best Buy and save $20 on an Xbox One controller and $10 on three months of Xbox Live Gold. You can also save $20 on a controller by purchasing the Xbox One version of Madden 16 with it.

Steam has four free weekend events going on right now, letting you play Ark: Survival Evolved, Company of Heroes, Company of Heroes 2, and Mount & Blade: Warband for free. The latter three games are also on sale.

Steam also has a Daedalic weekend sale, discounting many of the company's games--many for 80 to 95 percent off. Deponia is $1, Goodbye Deponia is $3, Dead Synchronicity: Tomorrow Comes Today is $10, and more.

Bethesda games are now on GOG. To celebrate, there are several bundles that have been discounted, including retro id Software shooters for $17 and Fallout classics for $10. By buying any Bethesda game, you'll get The Elder Scrolls: Arena and Daggerfall for free.

The latest Humble Bundle features games for PC and Android. For the price of your choosing, you can get games like Crimsonland and Fotonica, while beating the average ($2.94 as of this writing) gets you six additional games, two of which were recently added.

The new Humble Weekly Bundle consists of a wide variety of games, allowing you to pay any price for certain games or $8 for everything included (like Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut, Cloudbuilt, and TRI: Of Friendship and Madness).
