Retailer GameStop has announced a special two-day sale focused around Microsoft's Xbox One. Running June 27-28 at all GameStop stores in the United States, the sale sees markdowns on Xbox Live subscriptions and controllers, as well as trade-in bonuses if you're in the market for a console.

First, any system traded in toward the purchase of a new Xbox One will receive a 50 percent bonus trade-in credit. According to GameStop's latest feature trade values chart, an Xbox 360 S system will net you $75 (meaning $112 with the bonus applied), while a 500GB PlayStation 3 K Model normally trades in for $80, but with the bonus should be around $120. Going off those numbers, you could potentially pick up an Xbox One for around $280 if you're applying trades toward the new $399 Xbox One model.

If you decide to buy a new Xbox One, you'll get $20 off a 12-month Xbox Live subscription ($40) and $10 off a wireless controller ($50). Below are some other Xbox One-focused deals available at GameStop this weekend.

The Xbox One is lagging behind Sony's PlayStation 4 currently in terms of worldwide sales, but Microsoft reminds us that we're only about 10 percent into this console generation and a lot could change. Just today, Microsoft boasted that the Xbox One has the best exclusives, new franchises, and multiplayer community, going on to say that "it's more fun on Xbox One."
