Futurama: Worlds Of Tomorrow Coming To Mobile
Good news, everybody!
TinyCo and Fox Interactive announced today that Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow is currently under development for mobile platforms.
Original content for the game has been produced by the team behind the TV show, alongside Futurama creators Matt Groening, and David X. Cohen. TinyCo is also working with Rough Draft Studios--Futurama's original animators--to ensure the game stays true to the source material.
"I love this game because it feels just like Futurama," said Matt Groening in the announcement press release. "Except now you get to jab the characters in the face."
But what kind of game is it, Mr. Groening? We have no idea at this stage. No information on what form the game will take was included in the announcement, aside from the fact that it's a mobile title. It's possible the game will be in a similar vein to TinyCo's previous licensed mobile title, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, which was a free-to-play city management game that saw players earning in-game currency and spending it on creating their own version of the town of Quahog.
It seems we'll have to wait patiently for more information on Futurama: World of Tomorrow to be announced soon; not unlike a certain canine pal, right outside Panucci's Pizza.
