Fury gets open beta
Upcoming PVP MMO to have preview weekend at end of July.
Australian developer Auran is about to open up its upcoming game--Fury--to the world. Fury--an MMO that focuses purely on player-vs-player combat--has been in closed beta for a while now, but gamers around the world will receive a weekend's worth of access from Friday July 27.
Auran will be giving away open beta keys to the first 200,000 gamers to visit the www.unleashthefury.com/PreviewEvent Web site. The game's servers will be open for 60 hours from midday on Friday, July 27 PST (or from Saturday morning, July 28 for gamers in Australian/Asian time zones).
Fury is slated for a Q4 2007 release, and is being distributed by Gamecock. Check out our early preview of the game here.
