First Trailer for Classic Batman Reunion Film Features Familiar Foes

Last week, DC announced the upcoming release of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, an animated film that reunites the cast of the original '60s Batman TV show. A full trailer for the movie is now online--check it out here:

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders features '60s stars Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin, with Julie Newmar reprising her role as Catwoman. The dynamic duo will also face such classic villains as the Joker, Riddler, and Penguin.

The original Batman show ran for three seasons between 1966 and 1968, and clocked up no fewer than 122 episodes. West has reprised his role in a number of animated DC shows in the intervening years, such as The New Adventures of Batman in 1977 and Super Friends in 1984.

Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders hits digital HD on October 11, with the Blu-ray following on November 1.
