Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced that it plans to release a game based on the upcoming film Stuart Little 2. Developed by Magenta Software, the game will follow Stuart's adventures as he sets off to recover his family's valuables after they're stolen.

The game will be a free-roaming 3D platformer that puts players in control of Stuart. Players will progress through the game by collecting green boxes that allow new areas of the game to be accessed. In addition to the standard 3D platforming action, the game will also have players racing in Stuart's car, riding a mine cart, and even performing tricks on a skateboard. The game's engine offers solid graphics and smooth camera movement.

Stuart Little 2 is set to ship this summer.
