First Look: Panzer Elite and Expert Pool

Psygnosis shows off its military power with new 3D-tank sim and its keen eye for detail with Expert Pool.

Panzer ElitePsygnosis rolls into heavy action with its 3D-tank simulator, Panzer Elite as players command one of 23 possible tanks in 80 scenarios based on battle that happened from 1942-44 in Europe and North Africa. Due for a September release, the game will also support up to eight players over a LAN and up to four players over an Internet connection.

Expert PoolBrits like pool and with Psygnosis' UK roots, the company's Expert Pool title hopes to bring all the realism of pool with all the smoke, noise, and lost bets commonly found in most pool halls. Expert Pool lets gamers play one of 19 different pool disciplines against one of 200 possible opponents. The game also allows pool sharks to choose from 19 venues including the classic biker bar to the slightly more hip Las Vegas Strip. Expert Pool is destined to tear up the felt this summer.
