Midway has already announced new Mortal Kombat games for consoles such as the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and for Nintendo's Game Boy Advance handheld. Today, we have the first screenshots from the GBA version of Mortal Kombat, which is tentatively titled Mortal Kombat Advance. The game, which is being developed by Virtucraft, is completely unrelated to the Mortal Kombat 5 games scheduled for release next year and includes familiar characters such as Scorpion, Mileena, and Liu Kang. No details regarding particular modes of play are known at this time. However, we'll keep you posted.
