First Look: MDK2 Armageddon

Interplay has released the first screenshots from MDK2 Armageddon, along with further details on the game. The PlayStation 2 third-person action game is being developed using a new 3D engine that incorporates advanced graphics and effects. It will also feature ten levels and customizable difficulty settings. The levels range from Dr. Hawkins' subspace art gallery to the surface of an asteroid spinning through space. Other features include in-game hints and dual-analog support. As in MDK2 for the Dreamcast, Kurt Hectic, Dr. Fluke Hawkins, and Max the dog will all be playable characters, and each of them will have his own strengths and weaknesses.

MDK2 Armageddon for the PlayStation 2 will be released in December.
