Very hyped in Europe, Silver was well received as a good role-playing experience for the PC platform when it released last year. While by no means a Final Fantasy, it still remains as a top-notch effort from I-Motion Studio.

Most likely realizing that the PC wasn't the most ideal platform to bring cutesy anime-style characters to, I-Motion decided to bring its Silver to the Dreamcast - a platform currently in need of good RPGs. The conversion to the Sega platform is said to be progressing smoothly, and we've been lucky enough to acquire first screens of the Dreamcast version. For those interested by our screens, here's a brief synopsis of the game's story: The evil sorcerer Silver rules over the magical land of Jarrah with an iron fist. Players take on the role of David, a mystical knight whose wife languishes helplessly in Silver's stronghold. David has sworn an oath to rescue his wife and destroy Silver.

To complete his quest, David must obtain and master eight magical orbs that will allow him to summon the forces of fire, ice, life, lightning, earth, acid, time, and light. These orbs will grant him the power to battle Silver's dark sorcery. We'll have lots more on the Dreamcast version of Silver as the port progresses.
