First look: Barbarians GBA

We bring you the first screenshots from the Game Boy Advance version of Barbarians from Titus.

Comments

Barbarians, which was originally a rather violent 16-bit Amiga game, is being resurrected on the Game Boy Advance by Titus Interactive. The GBA version will be joined by a PlayStation 2 version and incarnations for other next-generation consoles in 2002.

Barbarians is an arena-based beat-'em-up set in an Anglo-Saxon fantasy-universe with no crucial storyline. Players can battle multiple opponents, and the general arenas will have sub-arenas that are accessible during the game. Objects can be used as weapons and players can grapple and throw enemies. There's also a multiplayer-mode allowing up to four-players to link up their Game Boy Advance. Further details are expected, as the release date approaches. In the meantime, check out the new Game Boy Advance screenshots.
