Final Fantasy fan day

SquareSoft has announced that it will hold a Final Fantasy fan day on July 10 at the Metreon in San Francisco in order to celebrate the recent release of Final Fantasy Chronicles for the Sony PlayStation and the upcoming Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within feature film. At the event, fans will have the opportunity to play Final Fantasy Chronicles and a sneak peek at Final Fantasy X for the PlayStation 2, as well as win tickets to a preview screening of The Spirits Within. Special raffles and a costume contest will also be held, including prizes such as T-shirts, lunch boxes, skateboards, and Final Fantasy posters. Additionally, a special charity auction featuring rare Final Fantasy collectibles and autographed art will be held, with proceeds benefiting the Academy of Arts College in San Francisco.

The event will kick off at 5:00pm PT, with the preview screening of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within scheduled for 11:00pm PT.
