Fable Anniversary gets retailer-specific preorder bonuses

Lionhead has detailed another one of the ways Fable Anniversary, the Xbox 360 remake of the 2004 original, will fit in with the modern gaming landscape: a slew of retailer-specific preorder bonuses.

The Peiratēs preorder pack features a pirate outfit and cutlass, whereas the Snowspire preorder pack comes with a Snowspire guard outfit and a dead fish, the Jackarse, as a weapon. Finally, the Apollo preorder pack comes with Apollo's costume and a crossbow.

The retailers that would carry these specific bonuses was not mentioned. The three packs will also be available to buy later in the year, Lionhead added.

Lionhead describes Fable Anniversary as the "definitive" version the game. It features 1080p graphics, new audio, a new interface, Achievements, SmartGlass integration, and The Lost Chapters content. A launch-day edition will also be released, with its own bonus content.

Fable Anniversary will be released for Xbox 360 on February 4.
