Shortly after Swedish studio Grin closed its doors in 2009, it was revealed that the developer had been secretly working on a Final Fantasy project. Slated as a sequel to 2006 title Final Fantasy XII, the project--codenamed Fortress--was an action RPG centered on defending a massive, magical structure.
