European PlayStation sale has some seriously impressive Vita and PS3 bargains

Loads of great Vita and PS3 games have their prices slashed for Easter. OlliOlli! TxK! Spelunky! Hotline Miami!

The European PlayStation Store has kicked off its Easter sale with loads of fantastic Vita and PlayStation 3 bargains.

There's particular savings for Vita owners. Both OlliOlli and TxK are £3.19, Spelunky is £3.99, and Hotline Miami is £2.39. If you're looking for something that pushes the hardware slightly further, the visually resplendent Killzone Mercenary is £14.99.

Over on the PS3, Demon's Souls is £6.49, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is £9.99, and Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is a mere £5.49.

Almost everything on sale has an additional 10 or 20 percent discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers, although longtime subscribers will likely have picked up a few of these bargains for free as part of the instant game collection over the past few months.

The full list of deals (and European pricing) can be found on the PlayStation Store or the European PlayStation Blog.

All offers run from today, April 9, until the end of the month. I just picked up TxK, OlliOlli, and Ni no Kuni for a smidgen over a tenner. Score!

It wasn't listed in the PS EU blog post (or indeed here) but Driver: San Francisco is included in the sale and is £3.59 for those with a PS Plus subscription.

The price cut on Mass Effect Trilogy is nice considering the physical edition seems to be out of stock everywhere for some reason. Xbox 360 & PC for £20-£30 new? Sure. Want the PS3 version? Better have a spare £70 then since that's what some of the online sellers are charging.

If only I could find a Black Phantom Edition of Demon's Souls for that price...

Ni No Kuni looks tempting but I think I may give it a miss. I tried to get into it when it originally came out but it just didn't click (the game has issues, if I can be the lone voice of dissent here :) )

Highly recommend both Demon's Souls and Ni No Kuni to those who haven't played those games. But I'm a little guttered that there isn't a PS1 sale on games again

i like how they make it even more sweeter if you have psn+. last time i checked you don't get discounts for just having live. even more so as if you buy a game without live you can't even play it if its online.

Would love to buy Ni No Kuni but unfortunately my PS3 doesn't have enough free space anymore.

If these come to the US with basically just a $ replacing the £, count me in on MGS HD and Ni No Kuni.

Ni No Kuni is how much? An absolute bargain if you ask me, if I still had a PS3, I'd be snapping this game up.

@neowarrior121 @Senor_Kami  Converting currency is more than just a = b, it has to do with avg income, and many other costs. For instance, in many places in Europe, cost of living is pretty cheap. The U.S. is quite expensive.

That being said, it sucks that it's more expensive, but there is a reason. Every economy is different. And the prices they set in Europe for whatever the reason, are not earning them any extra money. That's just the economy over there.
