EA Goes Downhill
Electronic Arts ships its newest sports title for the PlayStation, Rushdown
Electronic Arts has begun shipping Rushdown, its newest sports game for the PlayStation, featuring three extreme sports: mountain biking, kayaking, and snowboarding.
Rushdown includes a number of exotic and interesting 3D locales, set in North and South America, Africa, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe, and a total of 15 different courses to compete in. The game also features three modes of play (arcade, championship, and multiplayer), officially licensed gear like Jansport and Rossignol snowboards, a photo-realistic replay function, and support for the Dual Shock controller.
"The release of Rushdown signifies a breath of fresh air in the sports category," said producer Tarrnie Williams. "Players of all different types will find that the game is as close to the real deal as you can get, yet is very easy to learn and extremely fun to play."
