LOS ANGELES--Logic-loving FBI agent Nelson Tethers has a new assignment. Telltale Games has set a June 30 release date for the puzzle proficient G-man's return in Puzzle Agent 2 for the PC, Mac, and iOS platforms.

When it arrives, Puzzle Agent will sell for $10. However, customers who preorder the PC or Mac version of the game from Telltale's online store will receive a 10 percent discount, as well as a free copy of the original Puzzle Agent.

Puzzle Agent 2 picks back up with the first game's emphasis on puzzle-heavy adventure gameplay, which was inspired by Level-5's Professor Layton series. Designed in conjunction with indie comic artist and animator Graham Annable, the game sees Agent Nelson Tether returning to the sleepy Nordic town of Scoggins, Minnesota, to crack an all-new case and tie up some loose ends from the original game's Scoggins Eraser Factory mystery.
