E3 2002: First The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers shots

Electronic Arts has released the first shots from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers for the PlayStation 2.

The game will re-create the most memorable moments from the first two film adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic trilogy, such as the battles with the cave troll and the evil wizard Saruman. Players will take on the role of Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli and explore such environments as the Mines of Moria and the walls of Helm's Deep.

The PlayStation 2 version of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is being developed by Stormfront Studios, while Amaze Entertainment is handling the Game Boy Advance edition. Both games will be available this fall.
