Earlier this month, Fox Interactive announced its partnership with Vivendi Universal Publishing to release several of its games under the Sierra Studios label (2714827see story ). One of these games was announced to be Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza. No details were initially available other than the fact that this game would be based on the Die Hard motion picture series, starring Bruce Willis. But now, we bring you several exclusive screenshots as well as an early gameplay movie that reveal a lot more about the game.

Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza will apparently be a first-person shooter based on the original Die Hard film. These first screenshots feature John McClane running through urban environments, squaring off against heavily armed terrorists with his own firearms. The action actually looks fairly conventional--with the possible exception of the small onscreen gauges in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, indicating what appears to be the condition of McClane's brain, heart, and lungs. These may be suggestive of the fact that Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza will be going for realism--though the early gameplay movie we got doesn't actually give much real evidence of this.

Suffice it that details on Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza are still uncertain. The game will be on display at E3, so we'll be sure to bring you more information from the show floor as soon as possible.
