Midway will be unveiling a 3D version of its venerable Mortal Kombat fighting series on the Sony PSP. Mortal Kombat Unchained will let MK fans punch, kick, and kill each other in full 3D while on the go. The game will include lots of your old favorite fighters, including Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kitana, and Goro. The arenas are multitiered, which will let you knock opponents off, and potentially kill them in gory ways as they impale themselves on spikes or other environmental hazards. Unchained will also offer new gameplay modes like endurance and "konquest," which is a single-player mission-based game mode where you interact and fight against non-player characters in a 3D world. The game will even include minigames like puzzle kombat and chess, starring your favorite MK fighters. Rounding out the game's features are wireless multiplayer compatibility and multiple fatalities per fighter. Mortal Kombat Unchained is currently slated to ship this fall for the Sony PSP.
