Forza Motorsport 5 developer Turn 10 announced today in a post on the Xbox Wire that as a "thank you" to fans, the studio is extending the duration of the Xbox One game's Car Pass to include two additional car packs. Previously, this month's Meguiar's Car Pack was expected to be the final batch of post-release content for the game.

For current owners of the $50 Car Pass, this means that you'll receive the June and July car packs at no extra cost. The two car packs include a total of 20 new cars, bringing the total number of Forza 5 DLC cars to 90.

Turn 10 typically releases new monthly content for Forza 5 on the first Tuesday of every month, but the "June" pack will be moved up to a release next Friday, May 30. There's no word yet on what cars will be included with this pack, or July's, but Turn 10 says more details will be shared in the days and weeks ahead.

Forza 5--which runs in 1080p at 60fps--was an Xbox One launch title, arriving alongside Microsoft's new console last November. The game has sold over 1 million copies, and you can currently buy a special Xbox One bundle that includes a system and a copy of the game for $500. For more on Forza 5, check out GameSpot's review.
